Alumna Dr. Rachel Saunders Received NCACES Teaching Award

UNCC’s Alumna, Dr. Rachel Saunders, has received the 2022 North Central Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (NCACES) Teaching Award. The purpose of this award is to honor excellence in teaching in a counseling, counselor education, or counseling supervision program in the North Central Region. This award is given to a professional who demonstrates excellence in teaching. Nominators shared of Dr. Saunders’ exceptional student ratings and rapport with students, as well as her incredible contributions to the profession as a school counselor and counselor educator. The USCC congratulates Dr. Saunders on this recognition of her dedication as a counselor educator and hard work in the field of school counseling!
